The Aspen Ideas Festival is the nation's premier gathering place for leaders from around the globe and across disciplines to engage in deep and inquisitive discussion of the ideas and issues that both shape our lives and challenge our times. Some 350 presenters, 200 session, and 3,000 attendees comprise the annual Festival, launched in 2005 in Aspen, Colorado.

The Aspen Institute is an international, non-partisan think tank. Founded in 1950, the Aspen Institute promotes the pursuit of common ground and deeper understanding in a nonpartisan and nonidealogical setting. The Institute is headquartered in Washington, D.C. and has a campus in Aspen, Colorado.
